Install and update
The extension is currently distributed as a ZIP file for manual installation.
- Download the extension, extract it to a permanent location, and keep that folder.
- Open your browser's extension manager, such as
chrome://extensions, and enable developer mode. - Choose “Load unpacked” and select the folder containing the extension manifest.
- Return to Greenroom, refresh the page, and check that the extension is connected.
Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave, and compatible browsers are supported; Safari is not. To update, download the new version and replace the installed files, reload the extension in its manager, then refresh Greenroom and the pages you intend to use. Reloading alone does not download an update.
Permissions and access
On first use, follow the prompt to grant website access on the extension's own page. It uses your existing signed-in browser sessions and does not request or save account passwords.
To locate mailbox and recruitment pages, the extension reads open-tab URLs and titles; this list is exchanged locally between the page and extension. A task may read text from a selected inbox or status page, or fields, options, and necessary structure from an application page. Content needed for the task is sent to the server and model providers. See the Privacy Policy.
Update progress
Sign in to the relevant mailbox or recruitment system, then start a progress update from Pipeline. Check the identified opportunity, message date, and suggested stage before confirming. You can paste email text instead if you do not need the extension.
Assist with application forms
Start from a role or opportunity's application action. The extension can fill text, select options, check ordinary fields, scroll, click necessary intermediate steps, and upload the prepared resume. It leaves final submission to you and cannot make that decision on your behalf.
Handle passwords, verification challenges, acceptance of terms, and sensitive fields such as gender, ethnicity, health information, and identity numbers yourself. Automated recognition can also be wrong. Review every field, attachment, and page state before submitting. Complete unsupported controls or restricted websites manually on the original application page.
